Connect Roster to Claude

Connect your Roster account to Claude and ask questions about your ambassador program in plain English — "How is my VIP program performing this month?", "Who are my top ambassadors by referred revenue?", "What are people posting about us right now?" Claude reads the same numbers your Brand Portal reports show, and it can never modify your data.

What you'll need

Connect in about a minute

  1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors (on claude.ai: your initials → Settings → Connectors).
  2. Click Add custom connector and paste this URL:

  1. Click Connect. A Roster login window opens — sign in with your Brand Portal credentials.
  2. If your login has access to more than one brand, pick the brand you want Claude connected to. One connection = one brand.
  3. Review the consent screen and click Allow. It states exactly what Claude gets: read-only access to this brand's ambassadors, orders, campaigns, social posts, and payments — it can never modify your data.

That's it. Back in Claude, you'll see Roster listed as a connected tool. Start a new chat and ask away.

Five things to try first

"How is my ambassador program performing over the last 30 days? Build me an executive summary."
Pulls your Program Dashboard — applicants, members, posts, engagement, earned media value, referred revenue — with a link back to the portal page so you can verify every number.
"Who are my top 10 ambassadors by referred revenue this quarter? Include their commissions."
Runs the Sales Attribution report — the same one under Reports → Sales Attribution.
"Which ambassadors generated the most earned media value last month, and what did they post?"
Combines the Social Posts report with your live Social Feed, including post links.
"Give me a list of approved ambassadors with their email, phone, and Instagram handle, formatted as CSV."
Searches your contacts with full profile fields — ready to paste into your SMS or email tool.
"How did the Summer Launch campaign do? Compare invites to completions."
Reads the campaign's overview page: invite funnel, content created, reach, and engagement.

Every report answer includes a link to the matching Brand Portal page, so you can always verify the numbers yourself.

Switching brands

A connection is bound to a single brand. To switch: disconnect the Roster connector in Claude's Settings → Connectors, reconnect, and pick the other brand at login.

FAQ

Is my data used to train AI models?

Roster's connector only responds to requests you make in your own Claude conversations. How Claude handles conversation data is governed by your Claude plan's data policy — see Anthropic's documentation for your plan.

Why do the numbers match the portal exactly?

By design: the connector reads from the same reports your Brand Portal uses — nothing is recalculated or approximated.

Claude says the connection expired.

Someone may have revoked the connection in the Brand Portal, or your Roster access changed. Reconnect from Claude's Settings → Connectors.

I get "not enabled for your account yet."

The connector is in limited beta. Contact your CSM or support@getroster.com to request access.
